I keep thinking when I look at results, "This is the week. This is the week when he has a bad track and is mid pack." But it's just not happening. Unbelievable.

Spies = But we already knew that.

Sykes will be back in BSB next season if he doesn't pull the finger out soon.

Glad Hopper is back!!

Hopin' Haga stays down around that spot for both races.

Oh seems my shouting and tantrums got a listen to .

Ten Kate Superbikes are running Ohlins for the first time and the 600WSS bikes are so far running a combination (Superglue is using an Ohlins rear with Whitepower front!!!)

Now get some Brembo's on those Superbikes!!!!

Good job - maybe now they'll do something. Rea is looking quite happy so far.

Kawasaki miss out in Q1
Kawasaki's hopes of matching their Miller Motorsport Park performance was dealt a significant blow after both Broc Parkes and Jamie Hacking were eliminated from the opening phase of Superpole at Misano.

With a dry circuit greeting the riders following rain earlier in the day, a quick flurry of times in the latter stages saved Shane Byrne and Yukio Kagayama, but it wasn't enough to prevent Gregorio Lavilla, Ruben Xaus, Parkes and Hacking from missing out.

Up at the front, five different manufacturers filled the top five positions, with Jonathan Rea setting the pace, ahead of Jakub Smrz, Max Biaggi, Ben Spies and Troy Corser.

Q2 follows shortly.

Quote:
Leon Haslam and Tom Sykes have missed out on making it through to the Superpole shootout, but Jonathan Rea and Shane Byrne will fight it out for positions on the front row rows.

An exceptionally close session that remained competitive well beyond the chequered flag, there were smiles at Ten Kate Honda as Rea topped the qualifying group again, while team-mates Carlos Checa and Ryuichi Kiyonari have also made it through.

In addition, Byrne makes the top eight for the second round in succession, and he was instrumental in denying Max Biaggi, who missed out by three hundredths of a second to qualify in ninth.

Haslam will start tenth, ahead of Fonsi Nieto, Shinya Nakano, Yukio Kagayama, Sykes, Troy Corser and Lorenzo Lanzi.

Rea, Checa, Kiyonari, Byrne, Ben Spies, Michel Fabrizio, Noriyuki Haga and Jakub Smrz fight it out for pole position.
