my chain and sprocket were pretty bad. a ride down 45 would not kill it if he takes the feeder and goes the speed limit. ... or just takes a trailer

he doesn't have a trailer. as soon as he gets here tomorrow i will let him know what Patrick said though.

1960 if VERY intimidating to new riders. I don't mind it so much now, but in the beginning... Meaner and I were riding down 1960 in the wetness and I locked my rear brake up at a light- I slid right through that traffic light. It scared the outta me that I couldn't stop. Luckily it had just turned and the oncoming traffic had seen what was happening and everyone waited for me to clear the intersection before they took off. After that I pretty much stopped using the rear brake.
