I feel the same way!

I started a streetfighter fund, all I need is $19,578.00 and I can get mine.

Awesome bro. i was looking to buy my first ducati last month. I started with shopping for the Hypermotard S, then realized shyt for 14500, i can spend a couple more and roll the Streetfighter! So i researched and then decided to take a look. During my research I then realized, ok for about the same price I can get an 1198! I then almost talked myself into an 1198S, but quickly decided spending that much on 1 bike was unreasonable for me. So, I got my first Ducati , an 1198 about a month ago and I love it! Im sure you will enjoy yours more and more as you get some cornering in and see just what these bikes can do!!
i would post my pics but don't want to thread jack.

Congrats, sweet helmet and a truly sic looking bike!!
Nothing like the sound of a Ducati.

That was too funny!!!

kyu: yeah! That was me!

ZR1: Absolutely nothing sounds like a Ducati...! The rumble of the exhaust and the chatter of the clutch...it's like music to my ears!!!

eaglefox: Windshear was not as bad as expected. At normal highway speeds (riding just a hair above the speed limit), it is hardly noticable. However, when taking it up close to triple figures, you want to tuck down and streamline yourself! More details to come the more I get to ride it!

What a great looking bike! Congrats man! Take good care of her.
I think they could have figured out a better color for the wheels and frame but that's just my opinion.

Idle and reving just dont do that bike justice. When your powering through the gears, it sounds so much sweeter. I rode mine to work today after watching moto gp. Always makes me smile
