Which Bike to buy?

OK, so heres the deal, my friend from out of town is looking to buy a bike, hes lookin for a new or used kawasaki/suzuki/yamaha 600, or a slightly used gsxr 750. He's not sure which one to get, so Ima ask you guys what your opinion on whats good and bad about these bikes, or which one has the most/best handling and power capability for the money.

Handling shouldn't be an issue. No offense, but your "friend" will never take them to their limits.

obviously the 750 has more power the 600's but im sure he'll be satisfied with a 600. especially if he has never ridden before
