I am probably the only or one of the very few Harley riders that wear a full face helmet. Its very rare to see a harley and full face helmet within 500' of each other.

Sad to hear.

My supervisor, who has always ragged my about the amount of gear I wear just to drive 8 miles to work found out the hard way Tuesday afternoon. He rides a HD and dons no gear. Just the magic cap and that's it.

Well seems that magic hat did not work Tuesday while he was off work and riding around. He was slammed by a cager. Fractured cheek bone, broken jaw, fracture mid-vertabra, another broken vertabra that connects the skull to the spine, road rash, fractured elbow, fractured arm, and a fractured leg.

Life flighted from Bryan to Austin's Brackenridge. Also to add to the list of injures, he cannot remember anything and still cannot comprehend. Very disorientated and I'm sure that's from scrambling his brain on the asphalt.

Feel sorry for the guy but if you're going to ride naked, you better be tough!

I'm guessing maybe he'll be back to work within two months but that all depends on how bad he scrambled the eggs and if he'll be able to get around after effing his back up! Just a guess.

That's the part that scares me more than anything else. Not being able to recover fully from head injury. Coming back all fvcked in the head, can't talk straight, or think as clearly, but still just aware enough to know what I've lost.
