It's possible, but the insurance company is going to let the lien holder know. After that, the lien holder will give you so many days until they get insurance on it themselves and make you pay for it. It's usually high as too.

Why would you want to?

Many lien holders do not make you have full coverage on a motorcycle if the amount owed is less than $10K

i feel that the only way i would benefit from full coverage would be if my bike got stolen. its in a pretty secure location, i dont ride street so it wont be in parking lots, and my idea of total loss is different than that of and ins co. i have a 1000 dollar deductable and for track use it seems that i would be able to make repairs myself. I owe about 5k .

theft is part of comp insurance here....not sure if its the same there. i dont have collision, but im covered if my bike gets stolen

Green tree allows it too. There are a few that are ok with it as long as your credit is good enough. The premium difference between a 500 ded. and a 1k ded. with SF is only a few bucks a month FWIW
