It is so easy to kick the 450 comparied to my old YZ400F. Decomp cam is awsome.
But I guess it is hard when you are short.

Tony leave the bike on a stand or lean against something so you can stand on the pegs when you kick it.

i put the decomp cam in my 426....World of difference.

I have no problem starting the 07 RMZ250. Kick it about 4 times through slowly, 2 click blips of throttle, kick the out of it. Starts pretty much first kick everytime.

LOL, as soon as I saw the thread title, I completed your sentence before opening....

I've seen my buddy throw over his bike several times after stalling it...or eating .....he would get up, try to start it again...and the thing wouldn't fire again. This was several years ago when they had this problem more severely.

figured out how to start my own bike......2-3 smooth slow kicks til TDC, no twist of the throttle whatsoever, HARD KICK and WHAMMMO!

i was doing the twist twist, TDC, kick method....and that has been floodin out the carb. looks like my bike doesn't need any twisting as of right now.
