buy a full face helmet. Not only will it eliminate the need for goggles but if you crash( forbid), you wont smash your face in! yay!

Everyone here is going to want you to get a full face helmet. But I know you probably still want your question answered. They might tell you if you promise to get a full face helmet after your msf.

I promise to get a full helmet. I just want the goggles for the class because they have helmets. Its a requirement for the class.

What are some good sites or stores for helmets? I dont want to rush getting my helmet :P

I thought you just needed eye protection...not necessarily goggles...?

When I took the MSF quite a few years ago, they allowed you to wear sunglasses with the open face helmets they provided.

Like everybody said already, once you get done with the class get a GOOD full face helmet, no exceptions. Don't go cheap on something as important as your head. Who knows, someday you may want to use it (haven't seen that day yet)

You can get safety glasses/goggles at Lowe's, home depot, wal-mart etc.
Im pretty sure its just safety/eye protection not necessarily goggles.

or you could just read the information that was provided to you after you registered.

5) Eye protection (sunglasses, prescription glasses, goggles, or a helmet with a face shield).
