Neither.

I'd prefer a MV or Duc (, did I say that out loud?)

Romanian designer Laurentiu Trifescu visualizes how a Lamborghini superbike could look like if the Italian supercar maker would ever consider producing one.

The name Caramelo comes, like in the case of most Lambo products, from a famous Spanish bull. This defeated a lion and a tiger in the Madrid arena in 1877. The animalís courage and strength impressed the audience so much that they yelled for it to be spared and his name is remembered to this day.

Following the true Italian spirit, the Caramelo is supposed to be a superbike built on a tubular steel frame with single-sided swingarm and powered by a powerful 1000cc V4 engine. The design meets the edge style of the Murcielago and Gallardo and it is characterized by angular lines and cleaner surfaces.

In those pics the Lambo looks tons better....

In cars though.... Ferrari is my number one choice any day of the week. A Lambo is nice, but I have always been a huge fan of Ferrari

The Lambo looks just like any other sport bike for the most part. The Ferrari, while not exactly - traditional, lol - looks like a motorcycle Ferrari would build. Kind of funny looking but I'll bet it would grow on you reaaly quickly.

(though the wheelbase looks a little long to handle like a Ferrari should)

well i can say the ferrari engines are impressive. internaly. the camshafts are totally machined and polished. no casting. like the journals are from lobe tolobe. there is no cast between. they are sleeved not solid deck. the lambo is an audi. simply put. i have never seen the inside of a lambo motor but if it's the same as the audi then it's probably still some what mass produced compared to the ferrari's.

Ferrari has more of what the cruiser would be looking for; where as the remdition of the Lambo is more practical for what you would see in production.

Lamborghini was one of the last family-owned businesses and still do all their own producing from beginning to end. Definitely not Audi quality.

When the new v12 convertable came out they did a beginning to end for the enveil of the new production car on tv. You got to see everything from laying the carbonfiber to seat work, engine builds etc.

Besides, casting was a 90's invention. The new stuff is waterformed, hollow and very light. The new M3's cams were formed that way but it was too pricey to use on any other engine BMW makes.

Looks aside(and practicality) the 7k engine drops for ferrari maintenance and valve adjustments leads me to believe the pepped everything they can out of those engines and left little for longevity. The F50 is classic race, I agree but simply put only 15% of the cars made have been in for their first oil change/valve adjustment. That's a $18k job.(Numbers from C&D 1998---if I recall from my video diary.)

The only Ferraris I've been in(nothing more then pulling in/out of a shop) have been very nice but also simple. Lamborghini the same; although Im a fan of the Lambo I can't get over the Diablo shifter/gate being in the way and the offset shift pattern(although a good idea, unpracticticle these days w purpose-built offset gearing/computer controlled clutches.)
