One Piece Leathers - Weight?

Just curious about the weight of your leathers. I have an older, discontinued HJC suit and that sucker weighs almost 13lbs. That's got to be on the upper end of the scale. They're just too dang heavy.

Go throw yours on and jump on a scale, or just throw them over your shoulder if you don't want to wear them. Get on the scale with, then without and post the difference. Srsly. I want to know!

I remember reading that the Berik motogp kangaroo suits were just under 8lbs.

Don't want to research, so I'm employing the power of the lazyweb(tm)

13.2 lbs.

Alpinestars SP1 - all white.

My whole outfit (gloves, boots included - helmet) is close to 20.2 lbs.

Thanks Moe! Good to know that mine are in the ball park then.

On the other hand.. you're not helping me justify the expense of a new set of leathers.

Its all GP Armor. It's a 2009 model suit.

My 2007 Yamaha Leather Suit with lower quality CE Armor was close to 9.8lbs. I would feel the slides...

Let's just say you get what you pay for...
