question about my DB

Been talking with a few people and they say that i should take my Dirtbike and make it a supermoto bike or something along the lines of that i think. Was wondering from all u moto shop owners and everone else what yall think about this idea. Is it something i should look into more or is this something i am wasting my time on. Need some info on this and i didnt know any were else to go so i thought i would psot up about this. Plese no flaming me for this, this is a serious question im needing info on because the is something serious im looking into doing. someone even said that the bike will be street leagal if i do it and i might even have alot of fun with it. so if yall could help me out with some input on it i would be greatly appreciated. thks again..

start asking your motard questions, and i will start answering them. First, what kind of bike are you trying to convert? Second, what is your budget for the build? Third, Do you understand that once you ride the bike in street trim you will NEVER go back to dirt? Supermotards are addicting, so you have been warned. Let's hear those questions.

the bike can be converted for pretty cheap actually, just need to know what kind of bike it is to start looking up parts at work. Sportsman tires and a dual sport kit and you can be street legal for less than a grand.
