Your right Evo. I have told him to bring the bike to my house so I can wash it but he never does and you know I have told you Evo.

I am into every aspect of a bike but the way I like my bikes is low and stretch thats my cup of tea. Dont get me I wouldnt mind doing the track but I alwasy wanted this bike to do something that I have always when I first layed eyes on in 02'. I would have to get another bike to do track but for now I am set. Every body gets mad becuase people stretch their bikes and all it doesnt bother me at all I am the one that paid for it and thats what I want to do. Its like people get trucks and put airbags to me a truck is to haul something or jack it up. I like the baggs but I would not do it but I dont tell the person hey your dumb for doing I give them compliments and if its the way wanted to be let it be.

As for the chromed out stretch... not my cup of tea, but its pretty unique. I really like the exhaust setup.

Yes sir it was. I take pride in what I drive. I was brought up with a welthy back ground so when I get or given something I take really good care of it and maintain them just like my father. Thats what my wife loves about me that I have knowledge all around vehicles and bikes I am not saying I know everything but enough alot of reading and asking question I am not shy to ask or to learn. I was the second owner of the 4runner my father didnt want me to get rid of it but I am into bikes alot and my father is into cars and 4wheelers and fishing me too but I like bikes more.

CONGRATS EDGAR!

That 01 is still the king of Gixxer1000s, it had the best paint scheme off all time, IT was the original Gixxer1000, it started the destruction of all liter bikes in its day and still very much holds its own with todays bikes. The chrome and polish on top of that paint scheme is outstanding! The arm is a tad longer then I would like, I think a 4-6" would be a better length for an all around rider but if you're just cruising and drag racing, your setup is the .... HOWEVER, IMOP, you need to change the exhaust. It is interesting looking and different so thats cool, but those Hot Body exhaust systems suck for power, sound obnoxious and kill bottom end torque.

IF you decide to change exhaust in the future, I think a great looking, great sounding and great performing pipe that will fit your build to a T, its more of a drag racing styled pipe that is polished and not every in town has one is a Tsukigi race pipe. They come straight from Japan and are built for drag racing power bands(7k+)....You can get em through Schnitz Racing...

Just a thought.
Tsukigigsxr1000

Ofcourse you could go with Akro, TiForce or Brocks also......If you get a PCIIIusb, I have a good custom map I'll give you that will be pretty close for you.

Good luck with the new ride, take care of it because you don't see them around any more....

BTW if you actually did get that bike for $4k, you stole that biotch....that was the deal of a lifetime...I paid $2k more for one and had to ship it 2500 miles to get it. Don't dare paint those fairings, if you decide to change body work, let me know I'll buy that original blk/silv stuff off your bike anytime.
