I listened to the interview with Ty Howard, from the Liberty Motorsports Hour link on your website, last night. Pretty good show.

I really enjoyed having Ty on the show. For me, it is very rewarding to put people (like Ty) on a ESPN affiliate and start introducing them into the mainstream media.

I think my favorite show was Colin Edwards. I remember getting back from the Gulf War and 17 year old Colin's first question was, "Did you kill anybody over there?"

Fun stuff anyway. ALSO, if you have a chance, listen to the Darren Law interview. It is Rolex Grand Am, but it was fun to have him on right after Daytona...he was still so pumped up!

Whatever happened with this? The last radio show on the website was from March, and the most recent news update is from January...

Seems like they got to find more funding before moving forward....

There's a member on here that lives really close to the construction site, maybe they can give a word if any progress has been made.

With investors possibly starting to get a little more active now since the past year I doubt that any additional work will/can be done until they get whatever funding is needed.

at the end of the day..........if this thing actually does happen, it would be fkn awesome. obviously the track would probably be open before its 100% aesthetically complete with the bells and whistles surrounding the track, but another track closer to houston sounds good to me.

They need some dealership to throw a lot of money at it like Mercedes Benz of Sugarland or the Miller dealerships in Utah.

Any updates on this track??? I was in Cleveland over the Easter holiday and saw the store front was still there. I didn't know the address of the track, otherwise I would have gone exploring a little.

"Latest News" dated January 2009***

I think it's safe to say this project is DEAD! There's a link to buy apparel, but how many T-shirts do you have to sell to fund the building of a FIM spec track?

Here to bumping a really old thread. Vmaxgirl can you chime in and let us know if Any work has been done to the track at all. Website update is from Jan. 09.

Im sure its a dead project, but it would have been nice.

I'm fairly certain that Circuit of the Americas in Austin was the final nail in that coffin.

Much sadness. No new news on their webpage since 09, went by the office early May 2012, no one in. Nice merch and awesome concept picture on the wall though. Shame it fell through, guess I'll have to stick with Baytown and "Big H" for my local racing fun.
