You could take 1960 also.. but it would take longer/more stoplights... but if you DO take 1960.. just stay there till you get to fm2100 (2nd stoplight past lake houston) turn right, go down about 6 miles and turn right on gum gulley.. either way is easy but bw8-90 might be faster...

heh, the lake water is brown, but really if you seriously want scenic, bw8 is very woodsy once you pass hwy 59, 1960 is all city except for the 2 miles bridge over 'troubled waters'

HOWEVER..._IF_ you take 1960, take the first road to the right after the bridge (before the first redlight) and follow it down to the stopsign.. then turn left and take that road to 2100.. there are a couple of nice curves there (the only curves in the greater crosby area) =(

Well, truthfully, you rarely rarely ever see them on bw8/highway 90, but if you do take 90, ease it up when approaching the overpasses cause they like to hide on the other side of them when they are around...

Theres always cops down 1960, especially in between humble/atascocita.. and like I said it's all city stuff, so not many opportunities to have fun..

Your helmet will be plenty! hahaha, just kidding, you don't have to bring anything, but some hotdogs/hotdog buns or a sausage would certainly get eaten if you did happen to have some extra's =)
