Physically I am fine. Just feels like some angry went to town on my left side back. I will let Kov911 (Ali) tell his story if he wants. My bike came out pretty well considering. Some rash on the fairings but nothing on the frame. Frame sliders did their job.

Let me tell you something most people already know... GEAR FOR THE MOTHER LOVING WIN! My brand new Dianese (less than 1 week old) leather jacket did its job. No real rashing. Just a bit on my waist. It tore underneath my left armpit. Kneepads saved my knees. Jeans torn and not flesh! My lid took a scraping so I will replace it.

I am glad we both walked away. I also finished the ride and enjoyed those last few twisties. It helped me to get back on the horse and get my confidence back and not end the ride with the crash.

My heartfelt thanks to everyone who was there and helped us out. Major thanks to Texlurch, Dngrmouse, squoddy, pat, elias, bobby, matt, and especially Toni (meaner) who came out to pickup Ali (Nov911) moto.

Talk about foreshadowing.... i was talking to Matt at the meetup spot about wanting to eventually go naked on my moto with some buell headlights and now my plans will move up!

Good meeting kinnlyn, luisg4, sangria7, orange falcon.

Thanks again to everyone. Really.
Next time I will have to wait till after the ride to convince people to go the naked route. When we were talking I didn't mean you had to break everything off that day

Where's the fairness in that? And how can you call it a REFUND? I didn't give them anything to refund me- they gave me some of my dad's money. He could have just written me a check.

Bike's not in bad shape at all. It's ridable- just need to replace the right side rearset, and it's rashed up and has some character on that side, too.
