DA on Beltway 8

So I'm comin' back from Sugarland Thursday in the cage doing about 68 in the fast lane on cruise when I see a red bike zip up behind me, (yeah, red, I don't know what it was). I don't have any room to pull over but the a-hole is riding my a$$, then finally passes me on the left shoulder. Flips me the bird behind his back and zooms away, what a tool. Don't really care, just thought it was funny personally. He was too scared to go over a few lanes and pass on the right I guess, 'cause that would be illegal of course, bwaaahahahahaha.

everybody knows that the far left lane is the fast lane, if you are not passing another car, then you need to move one lane over to the right..

i dont think the bike rider was the tool at all. now the person who didnt move over, and was hogging the fast lane going only 68 on cruise control...

i side with the cyclist.

It is amazing how many people don't know that Texas passed a law a couple years ago stating that the left lane is for passing/overtaking, and you can get a ticket for not moving.

Like was said, if you ain't passing someone, get the f-k outta the way!

i think its kind of funny, actually.

I've rode beside an 18wheeler in my truck going down a 2lane highway blocking this jackass that though it would be cool to blow by me at 90+ then slow down, so i got infront of them and caught up to the trucker and that off good.

rode by that 18wheeler for atleast 10 miles.

Said he/she did'nt have any room to pull over.

I see dumb bikers like this on my way to work every morning. 2 inches off someones back bumper sometimes weaving side to side while the car has nowhere to go. Happens in the HOV also. Makes us all look like dumb .

You speed up and then pull into the right lane allowing them to pass. Simple.

Don't keep at your assinine 68mph. Speed up move right (asap) and let them go. It would prevent aggravation to both parties. And quite possibly may prevent someones demise.

Perhaps you missed that line. And I was passing traffic at the time.

Did you make this up just to get a response.
You indicate 10+ years experiance and a ZZR 1200.

And you can't even recognize another sportbike except for color , and wonder why they are upset that your putting along in the fast lane.

You need to get to a doctor your brain is slipping.

If only the cops actually enforced that law.

If you're in the left lane, you have to be moving faster than the other lanes. Not the slower, not the same speed, faster. As long as your 68mph was faster than the rest of traffic, you're ok. I usually let the faster people go by so the pigs can get them first.
