How much if you dont mind? also just imagine if you wreck the bike how much your out, wrecking a bike and realizing you cant ride until you get another then realizing wait I still owe 9,000 dollars so no bikes for awhile, luckily I was hit so its being paid for, also price what collision is on top of your insurance if your getting the minimum required.

oh point being if you wreck a 4000 dollar bike you can get out from under it much faster, and being your first bike as every one will tell you over and over your at high risk of a accident.

im getting the full coverage and uninsured motorist policy. talked with the insurance agent today. Waiting for them to call back with an actual quote on the 06 CBR, I had them quote me for an 05 earlier just for an estimate of what kind of payments I was looking at for a used bike. 08 CBR with full coverage and uninsured motorist was like 200 a month, for an 05 it was 126 I believe

I think its because down a few roads there has been a lot of thefts (we live out in the country) because when I bought my brand new race quad in 06, full coverage insurance on that thing was $900 a year just for a quad that was on tracks only. Any kind of insurance on a bike or atv will be higher for me due to the area even though where I am actually at isnt even bad.

Unfortunately, I haven't had much seat time with mine lately. Going to try to get some time in this weekend.

My insurance on all my vehicles went up when we moved here last summer, despite the fact I went from a town with 75000 people to one with like 10 including our dogs.

Yeah I live only about 15-20 min from Danbury so its probably the same kind of thing. Sucks you try to get away from people and live in the country but your insurance goes up because the probability of theft gets higher
