So how long did it take you to get home after we parted ways on Hwy6?

You missed all the fun on 359. Someone left me a nice 10' strip of spilled slippery chemical at a stop sign.

I got home about 310! I was soooooo tired (been up since 440am!) and I stopped multiple times to stay alert. I should have left with you dwayne because 290 and 6 are together forawhile instead of just a straight shot! That was the biggest mistake and I will never take 6 again...sigh now to let my bike cool down and clean all 400 miles off!

A huge bug died on my shield and I thought it was broke but it wasn't. Later on a bee landed on my helmet (I think it was a sign) and I was like "BEE!" I didn't know what to do because it wasn't moving away...so I quickly stood there afraid at the walgreens on 6 and decided to just shut the visor. Luckily he didn't go in my helmet after!

I ended up sliding into the intersection like one of those noobie skiers with the skis crossed. Luckily the only other person at the stop sign saw me slide and held up instead of creaming me.

I have no idea what the spill was though. It was slick like oil, but didn't leave any remnants on the tires or my shoes. It was almost like someone dropped a big tub of astroglide on the road.

It shouldn't have been much further. From Navasota to Houston on 6/290 is usually less than one hour.

Oooooh- you didn't go into Houston. You rode highway 6 all the way home? Ouch. I just realized...

When he told me he was going to stay on 6 I thought that was strange, but I hardly ever know where I am am much less how to get other people somewhere.

Cali took us down that road. Indeed it is a nice road. I kept expecting real gorillas but only saw the two huge plastic suckers!

Awww. I wish you would have asked- we would have told you to definitely NOT take highway 6.

I'm up for a Bluewater highway trip! Anybody?
