Tubing on the Guadalupe River !!! June 6th 2009


Leaving Houston @ 6:00 am

Meeting @ PP1 5:30am

All Tubes (with or without a bottom) Rental $15 each

Tube & Cooler Combination Rental $23 combo

we will be renting tubes from river tube sports.


weather is mostly sunny at 92 deg

me and a group went this past sunday...call and make sure the river isnt low...or your going to be doing more walking then floating


figured id let you know



and giligans island has it $12.00 a tube...and if you have more then 5 they throw in a few free tubes for coolers etc etc

we went last weekend and the river is low i need a new tailbone......and lugging a full ice cest while walking was also nice.........but it beat being at home a got a of a buzz

I went last week. It's low.Out off the 3hr float. We got done in half the time. We walked 98% of the way. Try the comal

i called the place we are renting from and he told me it is real low but it beats sitting in the hot sun doing nothing when i can at least have my feet wet and drinking ice cold beer

same general area...family oriented, patrolled by the cops, limited alcohol per person.
