Helicoil, 14/1.50 needed....

Anyone know somewhere that stocks this so I don't have to order?

It's a drain plug.....

No on all the major parts stores, Northern tools, TSC and a fastener company....

I'd be more then happy to "rent" your tools and pay for the inserts if you have a kit....

honestly, I think Bean on here had to purchase the helicoil kit for a repair job on his gsxr and had a left over insert. I think Flyin' Duc did the work and they should have the tool. Not saying he'll loan it out though, and he's in Tomball. try pm'ing him. (flyin' duc that is)

This is for the transmission drain plug on a Russian bike, I'd prefer not to

AutoZone sells a M14 X 1.25mm thread pitch spark plug insert repair kit. Don't know if you wanna go that route but I have that set with extra sleeves that I would loan it out to you.

I don't need solid, I am more than happy to pay retail, I just don't wanna wait....

1.25 is spark plug size. I have one of those also but then I'd have to use a spark plug for a drain plug...

Would look cool if I put a wire on it...
