Yeah the ride was quite the experience. You have nice troopers down here! just a warning - probably should not have doubled back. It would have been more fun in daylight tho....

1) Learn how to stagger. If someone is turning around and getting on your case about being to close beside them... listen. It may just be me willing to run you off the road. Its for their own and your safety.

2) if you are struggling to hold lines(in your own lane) while riding, you are riding beyond your limits on that ride. Drop the ego and slow down. Better to be slower and safe then pat your ego on the back that a group didn't have to wait another minute for you.

noob here - so take this for what its worth.

I realize the ride was a bit "spur of the moment" but I have some suggestions for next ride in addition to Cali's.

* We should wait to leave the meet spot until everyone is ready and leave together. Last night we rolled out while some people were still getting gear on.

* Was there a designated sweeper last night? If not we should make one.

* We should announce a KSU time and give time for everyone to be fueled up (both bike and body) before we leave. Or just show up to HAK with both tanks full.

* We might want to exchange emergency contact info before we leave (hey I learned something from that group riding class). Don't want to use it but would be good to have just in case.

I can agree...

I tell people EVERY week to come filled up... no one listens...

and as far as people waiting on the people to get the gear on... if they were lolly gagging then that is there fault, we gave well enough advance before we left... if 18-20 people were able to fall in line with gear on then there is no excuse for the other 5 people that were standing around talking not paying attention

just my .02

Hey if you were talking about me passing you after the cops pulled is over towards the end of the road, I only passed you because I wasn't sure you knew where we were. But when you turned right on 105 without a delay, I knew you knew where you were. I apologize if it was me you are referring too!

I do agree with the proper staggering technique!!! I wish riders would do that all of the time. Not beside me either!

No wasn't you guys.

They know who they are.

These were newer riders. I didn't mean it as a threatening post.

If there is a situation w seasoned/late riders I'll tell you on the spot. We need to be examples, whether acting fools(spirited rides/techniques) or riding in groups.
