Good seeing everyone again and meeting several new people!

wow, that ride was a blast!!

Sorry, I had to leave early but when we hit 105 I realized I needed to head on home as I need to get up early tomorrow. Next time I will make better plans.

On the way home where 336 intersects 45 south. In the underpass two Harleys pull up behind me revving their engines shaking the whole place acting like *****. Two old dudes one chick, no gear at all - except for their dew rags of course. They pass me as while I am entering the freeway and I chuck the deuce and they growl at me and take off like crazy (90+) ... I shrug it off, no biggie.

well, you know that karma thing....

As I approach 242 sure enough State trooper has them pulled over writing them up - I saw the lights soon enough to get on the access road but could still see them all lit up in his headlights - man were they -

oh man.....a tank of gas: $10.... Dinner at cici's: $8.... Having a sherriff pull 20 bikers over to wait for a trooper that claims we were doing 85 in a 55 when we were really doing a lot more: $PRICELESS...... definately a good HAK meet once again..... No tickets and only 1 warning

GREAT HAK! We stopped at the 105 just off the highway to wait for Indyrc and Itzel. I texted them and while waiting for a response I saw smoke. Ween said it was a trucker burning oil- no biggie. After another minute of watching down the freeway for the stragglers, I saw the FIRE. He was blowing 8-10 feet of flames out of his stacks! Was AWESOME!

I wanted to ride around to the other side of the freeway to get a better look and take pics, but Ween refused. Something about 300 gallons of diesel in a burning truck wah wah wah... and him not wanting to be blown up yet again (three times is enough- or something like that).

We pulled into the Walmart parking lot (behind Wally) and talked to the security guard for a minute and watched until the flames were extinguished. Then I got the text saying they were going to head back and not follow along on the ride.

About that time we were debating whether or not to try to find the group or head back on the 1010. I texted Mick and waited. While waiting, Ween decided to stunt in the parking lot-

Mick texted that everybody had been pulled over on their way back to the 105; we decided to wait for them on the other side of the freeway at the Burger King.

ONLY- when we did the U-turn we found out that we couldn't get into the parking lot. Ween decided to go off road and jump the curb. Didn't turn out so great- he bottomed out and did a nut crunch. Once I turned around and got to him, I realized that he had crunched his exhaust pipe, too. Don't think it leaks, but we couldn't tell in the dark.

So- the group came back and stopped for gas and then we all broke off into smaller groups and Ween, Brisingr23, and I rode the 1010 and went home.

Was good to see so many new faces out there tonight! I don't remember all the noobies names, but I met six or seven new people. Woo-hoo! Was a great night!

And, Tree, even though you got everybody pulled over and lost a few of us, good job trying to organize something fun for us on a Thursday night.

85. Maybe he meant in the turns.

Great HAK and great ride. I've heard about that road and wanted to do it for a while.
