You pretty much can't go wrong with any of the 600's out there. They all are good bikes and have an area thst they're best in.
IMO, if I were to buy a 600 right now it would be between the 636 and the new GSXR. Not that their is anything wrong with the R6 or the 600RR, just the 636 has the best power in the class and an awesome suspension, and the new GSXR is just f'in awesome looking in person.
As far as your girlfriend, there's 2 ways to look at women;
A) if she's a keeper, buy the ring, bikes will always be around. A good woman is hard to find.
B) If she's not a keeper, thenthey're like a bus, one is due around every 15 minutes, and you can be riding your new bike to keep your mind off her till the next one makes the loop.
Your call.

thanks for all of the info guys!!! I got $$$$for the R6, which is more than i would have paid for it, but i guess still a pretty good deal considering it only had 8000 miles and was in great shape! Sad to see her go though. Im really digging the 06 gixxer, but patrick has good points about the kawi, and about the girl!!! Thanks for making me reconsider Pat. I think im going to start checking into warranty info on both bikes, and insurance rates. Like i said, i can get the kawi for cheap, and that always helps. We have a matte blue bike in the shop too, and that color looks sick, but i wonder if it will hold up? anyhow, keep the info coming guys!!! Fugging decisions!
