Smile Not a snob....just a Noob!

Dobeman and I went on a nice ride from our house in Missouri City to Freeport yesterday. There were a ton of you guys out yesterday and it was nice to see everyone enjoying the beautiful day. Now I have only been riding a few months so when I am out on a ride I am concentrating and watching what's going on around me. I want to wave and acknowledge my fellow riders but sometimes I just don't feel comfortable letting go while being whipped around on my little 250. So for all of you that I didn't get a chance to acknowledge yesterday here ya go..............

I wasn't out riding, but I remember being scared to let go in the beginning. I even let go and waved with my right hand once-

It takes time- before you know it you'll be letting go with both hands!

Welcome! Good choice with the 250R as your first bike.
It's a forgiving bike and will give you the chance to learn the basics.
It will all come with time, just get comfortable on it, learn, and have fun.
Did you take the MSF course?
It's okay to take your hand off the bar, you'll find you really don't need it that much, see Figure A
