Need Help!!

Alright so my buddy has an 03 sv650s and yesterday he was trying to put a new map on the pc III. He hooked the computer up to it and tried to send the new map but he didnt have the pcIII powered up, so then when he tried to turn the bike on after that it wont start, all you here is the click of the starter. He needs this bike back up and running asap, so what should he do?

It shouldnt effect the starter cranking; only fuel.

Check battery power if the starter clicks but doesnt crank.

The click signals that the starter is trying to turn over. Otherwise, if the starter isnt trying check your starter cut outs. Do the lights fade when the starter clicks?

Battery is strong, is it just that the pcIII doesnt have a map on it and thats why it wont start?
