How about a Snell certified flip-up?

... and a drop-dead gorgeous one at that (IMO):

zeus zs 3000a flip up closed

The Zeus ZS-3000 - I hope it comes in at a good price, but I'm pretty sure I just found my next helmet.

I used to have a modular. A Schuberth to be exact. I wouldn't trust the face sheild to hold up in a high speed off.

To each their own. Migh want to fix the red x though.

Honestly I do own a couple modulars.

But the size, weight and windnoise is only good for a round-town helmet.
