that is the exact reason i would not want to be a sport bike rider living in dallas. there is no back roads to ride. my buddy told me recently "we just go down town and drag race " i lol at that. whats the point?

As the reporter is saying "... troopers say if you are involved in a crash you are 35 times...." and a dumbass in a mustang cuts across two lanes to get onto the freeway.

They always seem to find the most eloquent, professional looking motorcyclists to represent the group...

I was thinking the same thing. I was glad to hear the black guy at the end mention something about the track being the place to ride like that

I did notice the car cutting across 2 lanes of traffic also. I just wish they would do a story about the accidents drivers like that cause.

this is atleast the 4th story that James Rose from the DFW Fox affiliate has done since I moved here in '04... its always one sided because safe riders don't get ratings. Every time I email him and ask him to come join my group for one of our weekly dinner rides, or to come out and join me at the track.. with or without the cameras just so he can see a side of it thats not the usually depicted raisers that the general public loves to hate so much. every time i'm ignored.

and yeah... living in dallas and riding... i'll put it this way... until i decided to ride ONLY on the track... i wanted to slit my wrists after coming home from rides where everyone else was like.. "Great ride... I love that road".. .and I'm like.. you're shittin me right... the corners suck, the pavement is rough as and covered with ...

They were not as bad as some I have seen. At lest they they didnt mention actual top speeds of the bikes. I have seen a few that say 200 on the air.
