Lower rearsets on 03 GSXR 1000

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can lower the rearsets on my 03 GSXR 1000? I am about 6'3" tall and my legs won't fit under the tank with the rearsets at the factory height. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

I think thats pretty much your only option man. I have heard of some adapters that supposedly move your rearsets back and down a little but I have never seen them. They basically bolt to your stock rearset holes and the rearset bolts to the adapter. maybe take some measurements of the stock holes and draw it up and take it to a machine shop. They might be able to help you out.

Here is a rearset lowering kit I found. You only get 5/8" with this which doesn't seem like it would help much.

like i said, take some measurements and get a machine shop to cut you some out. countersink the holes that bolt to the frame and tap the holes for your rearsets to bolt up.
