I need to thank the guy heading 45 south………On a red CBR maybe

Don’t know you but Thank you!!!

You were on a red sport bike, CBR maybe, and you were heading south on 45 in the LaMarque area. I was heading north around 10:35 this morning on an orange Hayabusa and as I saw you coming down the over ramp that I was fixing to go over you were vigorously patting your helmet at me. I was only going 15mph over but I know the State Trooper on the other side would have surly written me up because they were working it today. Your warning gave me plenty of time to slow it down and not ruin my day.

Thank you for helping out a brother motorcyclist.

If you obey the speed limit, you will be run over by every soccer mom trying to do 10 things at once. Thats why everyone rides 10 over

This is true... I find it that if you stay a little ahead of traffic you arent in someones blind spot or something and they dont forget about you.

Before I read the above I was also going to mention we get alot of trucks/cars on our forest ride flashing us. Ironically we usually are riding close to the speed limit when they are flashing.

What could he ticket you for? I've had a friend get a ticket for honking his horn- unnecessary use of a safety device (or something). But why for flashing lights?

if you just passed by the cop, how would he see you flashing your lights?

.....assuming this happened during the day time.
