Bike Registration Help

Okay so as you all know I bought my bike a lil while ago and everything is legit on it. But I need to get it registered. The tags go out in March (now) and I am not gonna ride it illegal. SO where do I go? What do I do? I went to the TXDOT website....yeah thats a joke...try reading that and figure out what to do. I have the Bill of Sale and the U186 title transfer form ready. Just need to know where to go. The title transfer form has it down as a "gift" so the tax assessment should be minimal. Anyone got any info....I'd appreciate it.

Everything is current on it. (as far as I was know) tags and everything were current when I called it in to check it out. I live out on Westheimer and Hwy 6 area. Still think I am Harris County and not Fort Bend.
