FlipSideUp went down tonight

Rob is OK, I just dropped him off at home. He was going south on Highway 6 at 9:30 tonight, on the way to the Starbucks Meet on Hwy 6 and 529. After passing Longenbaugh, a car travelling north on Hwy 6 decided to make a U-turn in front of him. He braked, then low-sided, then rolled to a stop, narrowly avoiding being run over by the car's left rear tire. Lying on his back, he tapped the back of his helmet on the driver's door to warn the guy not to open it onto his head! He's alright: helmet and jacket scraped up, right hand sore, and rash on left knee. His bike had to be towed away, total damage unknown. He says the 20-something driver was cool about everything and very apologetic. His father came and was apologetic too, and were both concerned for his well-being. I think the driver ended up getting a ticket. Warpbender, Superbike 987, and I rode up to help him out and get him home. He's fine; a little bit sore and a little bit scraped up, though.

Y'all be careful out there! Glad Rob is alright.
