Nice link btw I just started listening to HPD on my iTouch too thanks to the emergency radio app.
wunderradio > emergency radio IMO.

I have a BC346XT by Uniden as my portable. Great radio. My desk/mobiles I have a BCD996T and a RadioShack Pro-197 (GRE-600). All 3 great scanners.

Pearland is streaming from a older RadioShack Pro-95 that belongs to a friend.

How hard would it be to program all of Harris county's LEOs, EMS/Fire, as well as the same for all of the surrounding countys?

Does anyone have a list, or a link to one, that could tell what HPD's call numbers mean.

Too get everything just the way you like it requires some time and tweaking but its all pretty easy thanks to radioreference.com and some good software.

HPD unit numbers

XX(letter)XX(D,E,N)

XX=numbers

First number is the district, letter is the station designation, last set of numbers is the beat. If it's even, it's early shift, odd number is late shift. Early side, late side as we call it...followed by Day, Evening, or Nights.
