Could have done without the American commentating. But still, I'm glad to see Spies with the double. Would have been a dark day if he didn't pull it off.

I know Be won and we all were hoping for that. However, both races were boring IMO.

On the other hand, WTF was the deal with Hacking? He is on the guest list and he pulls like that to his own kind (Kawasaki). In race one he almost make #23 fall & then in second race he actually cause #99 to highside.

Me too. The American commentators are actually HARDER to understand than the english guys, repeatedly fscked up riders names, and generally didn't quite know what they were talking about.

I didn't notice that. I will say that the image quality of motogp and WSBK has always been subpar. I don't know if this is speed's problem or what, but the image is always grainer than everything else.

Russell tries hard, at least he refrains from constantly trying to remind folks that he was once a prominent racer.
But, he blew several calls, the two most notable
1. Nakano tucked the front when he hit that patch on the brakes.
2. Haslam did not lose the front end on the brakes! His footpeg hit the curb!

Russell's commentary made it sound like these Pros do not know how to use the brakes.

And that was up with Jamie Hacking? Does this guys just dislike teammates in general? I know you always want to beat the guy who is one the same equipment but don't complain about DMG and then ride as if you are a Nascar veteran.

His accent leaves a lot to be desired, though.

If I heard Ralph Shaheen or whatever the his name is call Kiyonari (Kee-o-nari) "Kie-o-nari" I was going to punch the TV...

And, again, he insists on calling Xaus (Zowss) "Chouss"

I cringed when I realized what was about to happen when the race one broadcast began and I heard the voices...

even worse it was kie-a-nari. So of the 3 syllables, he was getting ONE right. He screwed up Smrz too.
