i wonder

with all this marine talk and praise and things seems to me some people are putting people that are serving into a position where they should be a idol to all Americans. i thought the bible said idolatry is wrong. remember the conservatives are the ones that claim to be more supportive of the troops. but with a party that bases things so much on religion how is this idolatry right???

thoughts???

just one of my many ponderings is all.

i don't think so. probably more appreciation than idolizing. i don't know though. the people with 1000 ribbons all over there vehicle scare me sometimes. American Idol might be a better case than marines.

maybe it's a good thing americans aren't SO religion oriented though. look at the middle east...they are gung ho for their religions and they are killing each other all the time.
