ahh i cant believe i missed out on the fun

killintime, maxgs WILL pass, AND leave you...does matter what bike ur on.
You should still let me drive it, just to give an accurate description of how quick the pass will occur, and how long before his taillights disappear

and i dunno what ur talking about z06's and mid 12 second 1/4 miles for, ive seen one off the showroom floor, slapped dot drag radials on, ran a 10.6.
I dunno what you ride, but a 600 in the quarter, with an average rider, is getting beat by that z06.

zr1 is expensive, NOT overpriced...it blows away cars that cost 3-4 times as much. If i had the cash, there is absolutely no question I would buy that car, the z06 was near perfect, I hear the zr1 is better but I havent driven one yet so I cant confirm how true that is.

And killintime, I'm sorry to bust ur bubble, there are PLENTY, and i do mean plenty of street legal cars, that would badly hurt some 600-1000cc feelings on the street...a c6 z06 would easily take you, and if you did find a zr1 owner that would go for it, its not gonna work out in ur favor.

I'd buy a Zr1 if i had the cash... my dad used to have an older ZR1 and it was a fun car to drive when i would sneak it out (he knew, just never busted my for it)...
Its not a very practical car, but Its definitely ALOT of fun

If you choose to play with the new ZR1, you'd better bring some horsepower or race from a standstill. Even then, it's wickedly fast with a good driver.

At speeds above 100mph, the 'vette has the advantage. For $100K I'd still buy a Porsche turbo or a 2 year old Ferrari but there is no denying the new ZR1 is formidable!
Wrong. Class B Misdemeanor.

after going head to head with a z06 i doubt a 600-1k would be able to keep up shoot i dont think after like 140mph i could keep up....

Cars with big power DEFINETLY have the advantage after 140-150mph.....I have a buddy with a 730rwhp C6 and from 70 mph rolls, he fukks up everything....busas, 1000s, ZX14s etc.... I have another buddy with an 02 Z06 with 600 rwhp, after 160mph, it is DEFINETLY faster then my 1000. Sure in a drag race a bike will be faster but....cars have the aero advantage better power per gearing for top end runs...... Sorry guys, just the way it is...

I had a Duesch in a Lincoln Towncar try to race me on 249 yesterday. Does that count? LOL.... He actually got it over 110+! I think I changed to 4th gear about then... Didn't want to get into trouble so I watched him drive like an a$$ way in front of me!!! LOL

what about on the freeway you need to switch lanes to avoid cars... while bikes can just.. ya know.. go in between them???

splitting cars on the freeway at 170+mph...id like to see you pull that one off

not saying it isnt possible bc there are a few guys I know that could probably do it...notice i say FEW, there would be absolutely no reaction time if a cager got spooked and swerved, you my friend, are toast.

Besides, MaxGs' gt3 has the capability to drive on 2 wheels with the touch of a button...just for this kind of scenario

Awesome thread...full of so much useful and useless info. Motorcycles are not the end all of speed. It takes money to play on 4 wheels...

You don't know me to be making stupid comments like that, & yes there is plenty of people out there a Stock Z06 could out run but i'm definitely not one of them.
