Stepping up in the world

With any luck at all, I should finally be selling my 250 today, and stepping up to a new bike in the next few days. I've narrowed down my choices to a 2005 Honda F4i, and 2008 Kawasaki ZZR 600. I've found I'm comfortable sitting on either, and would more than likely be just as happy on either one.

So, I hope some of you guys might have some advise, or experiances from these particular models that might help my decision. Aside from looks and Fuel injection, whacha know??

Stunters use them. F4I. I had a carbed bike and it sucked. Cold days. Just get the FI or you might regret it.

Personally, I'd pick the Honda between those two.
They are bulletproof and you can do pretty much anything you want with an F4i. Lots of parts available if you ever need anything also.

The ZZR is the same bike as the 2000ish ZX6R. Plenty of parts for them too.

ZZR is a Kawi, sadly it is carbed. I believe the first f4s (including the rest of the F series) may have been carbed? They added the injection in or after 02 i think.

Don't get me wrong, i Love my lil 2fiddy. She's taught me alot, and saved my skin a few times. however, when i try to pass a pickup, and can't, because of the jerkweed gunning his rustbucket... It's more than frustrating. Not to mention the potential for long summer miles on some highway, plus the added comfort of the listed models has brought my decision to move on.

2001, FI is the way to go. They are even making dirt bikes FI. It must be for a reason.

the Kawi being carbed shouldn't be a problem since you have the same in the Ninjette now.

Since you're happy w/either go w/the one that is better shape and a better deal

i went from my 250 to a 900RR (friends bike)

once u learn on a 250 u can ride anything so pick whichever you think will last longer as even a 600 will be slow to u after a while

hi rpms seem kewl till u have to downshift on the freeway just to get any real accellllllllleration

like the looks of the zzr, but carbs suck any way you slice it. I will never have another reliable bike that is carburated. 4 a Second f around bike maybe. Would have to yield to the honda as much as it hurts.

Good to know. I have been leaning toward the F4i anyway, hopefully I'll seal the deal this weekend.
