Hello.

I'm a new rider living here in Houston. I have an 00 RC51 and am looking for other RC51 owners. I took it out around the block the other day and it stalled on me (twice) when I pulled the clutch in rolling up to a stop sign. Someone already suggested that the air filter might be clogged or need cleaning. Any other suggestions? This is my first bike and I'm just learning about it. Anyone interested in coming over and taking a look with me?

Welcome to the family!

As for stalling, it could be several things. A dirty filter would cause poor performance not necessarily cutout. What does it idle at? Check the emission sticker on the frame and adjust the idle accordingly with the idle adjustment .

I took MSF over spring break and just started riding. The bike idles at around 1100-1400. I guess I could try and turn it up a little bit, maybe it needs a good tune (has a power commander on it)? If anyone would still like to take a look at it I would be very grateful. Like I said, don't know much about bikes and it won't be fun if I have to push it back to my house tomorrow. = (

New to the group after running in to y'all this weekend on the way to TWS (Texas World Speedway). Had an awesome day with the group. I am the guy with the scooter! :-) Got it last month off eBay and just riding the day lights out of it, having a great time. Just turned 50, and figured I need a small bike, so I got a scooter, never road a bike or a scooter before Dec 08. So I may be a little green still. Got a Suzuki Burgman 650 2009 and I am with scooter group, but they move too slow for me! Today I found a group that I like! Can a scooter hang out with you guys? :-)

Here is a link to a few photos that I took today: http://picasaweb.google.com/allan.ma...onMemorialDay#
