they already make it, electric shifter,big electric solonoid shifts up or down, no clutch needed, just use the clutch on start and stop. I think MPS makes it, one of my buddies has it on his busa.

i saw a mag for an automatic system to be installed on a harley, dont remember which mag. but i do remember it, or it might have been that electric shift yall are talking about....

vintage British bikes are right hand shift , and so are 76' and older sportsters. although the clutch lever is still on the left .
