errrr..say that again, i didnt follow..

R.I.P. for the fella, but

seat...........belt.........hmm, do they mean "helmet"? i can see the two words being EASILY confusing... if they did mean a seat belt....why was he not wearing his? i wear my seat belt all the time on my bike. it holds my pants on.

That's the part that gives me chills for some reason.

i wonder how it is sheared.. do they mean a large section was removed... or the pole is now in TWO complete sections "sheared off"?

for a bike / rider to shear a utility pole, my guess would be in excess of 100mph

probably just read the police report and the "seat belt box" wasn't checked.
