I test rode a speed triple before I bought my 1kRR. They allow test drives with valid TDL (M endorse) and a helmet.

Hit them up.

Good luck. It's a rad bike.

I have an 08. I'm not really comfortable with a stranger riding it, but i can tell you i will never go without a speed triple in my arsenal again. It is by far the most fun i have ever had on a bike.

Also, typically your full coverage insurance will only cover the vehicle for which it was purchased (yours). Your coverage MAY cover damage to a third-party vehicle that you damage while driving someone else's vehicle but you'd need to check your policy.

I have a matt 08 that you can ride for $20 plus a $20K non refundable deposit. Don't ride one unless you plan on buying one..........

When I get back to Houston in July we should have a triumph get-together, unless there is already one organized.

I have one most weekends. Usually 2 speed triples, a sprint, and a tiger. Until 2 months ago, it was 4 speed triples until one lad sold his and the another bought a Super Duke.

having ridden many h-d models, and enjoying an occasional jot around on my friends '06 S3.... I can tell you that they are totally different machines. For one, the s3 will have the front wheel up in the air before you have your feet back on the pegs if you ride it like a harley.... And it will do the same with the back wheel when you hit the brakes....

As previously stated, the s3 is a ****ing blast. One of the best all round bikes there is. Comfortable for long rides, capable of plenty of hooligan acts, and a more than capabable of holding its own at the track.

I think the S3 actually has 2-3 more ft/lbs of torque than the VRod
