Triumph Daytona Triple 675!!! That's the bike I want BUT it is ALL personal preferance - doesn't matter what any of us think! I actually like the Kawi's over all other bikes!!! I don't know if it is a better performing bike nor will I ever know coz to push the bike to its limits is something only a pro can do, not us mate no matter how hard we feel on the day.

with the money you're spending on bikes why not try a ducati or aprilia. Me personally I would chose the gsxr, just because I hear so many good things about them.

Looks to me like your judging all the bikes on cosmetic value, which is just personal preference to me. Your gonna get a different opinion from everyone on this subject if you just asking which one looks better.

just get the bike you want. One bike might be better than the other, but you'll probably never notice the difference.

Why bother spending the extra money for basicaly the same thing. Sell your05 for a 06? Doesn't make any sense to me unless you get a 750 or a 1000. Sounds like money down the drain.

There are a few differences in the 05 and 06 models... But I personally don't like the 06 Kawais... I LOVE the 06 Suzuki everything... Especially the 750s with that new Exhaust. But why bother with a 600 again? Get a 1000.

My 05 wasnt even for sale. Some rich guy driving a 745I brand new beamer pulled up to me and offered me cash in hand so i took it and sold the . I didnt really want to sell it but the money was right! Not only that, everyone was changing their bikes for 06 so i knew there would be much more to choose from.

I went looking at bikes again all morning. I really dont like the GSXR's anymore with the new body style. I saw the new ones today and just dont really care for them. I looked at the Honda 600RR's today as well and loved the solid black one but they wanted way more for it than i would have to pay for the 636. The yamahas were nice and looked mean as but the tail section is a little narrow for me and majority of the people i know that have owned them complain about the tranny and clutch going out and giving them problems. I sat on the limited edition 636 again and i loved how it felt. It felt similar to the 600RR and both of them have the undertail exhaust that i love! Im just waiting for the black ones to come in and i think ill be taking it home with me! lol I think they look mean as in the pics! I just cant wait to see the black one in person! Not only that but i can get it much cheaper. My buddy works over at kawasaki and is tight with the owner so they are giving me a deal on it. I can get the black 06 636 for $9200.00 out the door INCLUDING the 4 year unlimited mileage warranty. I may even be able to get him closer to $8900.00 once they come in and he sees that im ready to buy with cash in hand that day!

Honda wanted 10,040.16 out the door for a stock 600RR.
Yamaha wanted 10,600.00 out the door for a stock R6.
Suzuki wanted $10,200.00 out the door for a stock gsxr 600.
Kawasaki (with my hook-up) wants $9200.00 out the door w/ warranty.

Anyways, all the 600 class bikes are a little over 10,000 out the door and i can get the 636 for almost right at $9000 with the extra warranty. I called around to some other houston area kawasaki shops and they were asking around the same price as what the others were going for. Anywhere else would want around $9600.00+ warranty for 575.00 so they were running $10,175 out the door. Looks like all the bikes are selling for $10,000 or a little more. Seems like a cant go wrong with the deal im getting with my buddy plus it looks sick as and even though it cant race in the 600 class, it is faster than the other stock 600's on the road.

Thanks for the help so far guys!! I cant wait to get it! Ill post pics when i do! As of right now my mind is set on the 636!!

There no such bad bike in 600 class. each one have thier own good and bad.
it is all up to a rider not one faster than other. When i went and bought my 05CBR600RR I was looking at all just like you. my choice is Honda,Kawa,Yama then Suki. but i choose Honda cause the reliability and craftmanship, it also hold there value better too. like i said it all up to you taste, look, ride and the way they handling to your need. buy what you like cause you are end up pay for it not everyone else. advise yes decision have to be you.
seam like it boil down to Kawa and Honda for you. ask them to see if you can test ride them both and see which ever fit you most. good luck on your decision. Remember there are no such bad 600 class it only bad decision. my 2 cent.

neversatsified,I put it like this suzuki has been dominate for so many years all the other companys are just catching up you need to look up gsxrs championship titles, yeah yamaha and kawasaki are doing much better now but kawasaki tried to merge with suzuki then they called it off then they come out with the new ninjas zx10 and 636 hmmm I wonder where they got that from seeing as kawasaki was on the bottom of the totem pole.but hey whatever you like is your choice.most of these other companies seem like they're trying to sell there bikes based on looks, sure they made more engine mods but hands down Id stay with a champion.but thats just me the gsxr has better handling.also remember I think the 636 is more tha 600 cc's Im not sure on that one not a kawa fan as you can see,but if that is true why doe they need more cc's to beat the others.and I agree with the other guys its not faster its rider difference or error.

Your right about there not being any bad bike. Im sure they are all so close in comparison, i wouldnt even be able to tell really any difference. Are you sure they let you test ride them? I didnt think they would do that?

Id like to ride the 636 and the 600RR. I guess im just a huge fan of the undertail exhaust! Ill have to keep looking until i finally decide. I think im going to go to the suzuki shop tomorrow and look again just for grins. Im still undecided even though i am swaying towards the 636 between the kawasaki and the honda. More so because of price, the undertail exhaust and because it has good write-ups on it in the magazines. The ZX10R is the beast of the beasts and the 636 they say is not far behind. They ride very much alike and both dominate over their class even though the 636 does have 36 more cc's. If i was going to be racing, i would worry about it being illegal for the 600 class but im just riding the streets so it wouldnt hurt me that its not track legal to run with the 600's.

In the end, looks wise, its a toss up for me. I like the looks of the R6, 600RR and the 636 as they all have the dual headlights that make the front end look proportionate. The Gsxr's are very nice bike and have been for a long time but the cyclops headlight doesnt look as nice as the other IMO.

Looks like im picking between the Honda and the kawasaki! Why does the choice have to be so hard!! :BangHead:
