Which bike to get fellas???

Alright guys,
Im about to buy a new bike. I just sold my black/silver 2005 GSXR 600 so i can move up to a 2006. Ive been looking around and so far the bike i like best is the Black 2006 ZX6R 636. I already got approved today for the bike and i probably would have rode it home today if they would have had one in stock but they didnt. If i go through with it, im going to get the 4 year unlimited mileage warranty as well when i get it. They only had the silver and red limited edition one with the tribal and it looked kinda cheesy to me. They ordered the black one for me and it is supposed to be in tomorrow but by the latest, Monday.

Anyhow, i just wanted to see what yalls opinion on the 06 bikes are? Im staying in the 600 class because the price is right and it is more than enough power to get me in trouble. lol.

Which of the 06 600's is the fastest and which has the best reviews for this year?

List the ups/downs for the bikes and let me know what yall think! I want to make sure i make the right choice!

Alright, now, here are the reasons why i personally didnt really like the others. I didnt really care for the body styling of the 06 GSXR's. I dont like the blinkers in the mirrors and the molded in rear signals like the 1000's. Just not really my taste. The whole bike looks kind of space age to me. I didnt really like the CBR600RR because if the front end. I liked how the headlights were similar to the ZX6 but honda also added the little headlight at the top in between the 2 that kind of made it look tacky to me. The R6's look sick other than the tail section being so narrow and pointy. Looks kinda goofy to me as well. They should have kept it the same as the 05's.

Now, i know these reasons are small but when i saw the new 636, i couldnt find anything i didnt like about it. I didnt really care for the stubby little side exhaust so that only left the honda and kawasaki with the undertail exhaust. Both the suzuki and yamaha have the little stubby exhaust on the side. What do yall think? Let me know if you think i should reconsider and tell me why. I really want to hear what yall think!

THANKS FOR THE HELP IN ADVANCE!!

lol thats why i picked it as my screen name!

Looks like we got a gsxr fan and a yamaha fan here. Is one of the bikes really better than the other or is it all just personal preference?

I guess i dont see why either of those would be better than the 636? My buddy just bought a black and red 06 gsxr 600 this week and it didnt impress me at all. It feels the same as my 05 gsxr 600 did. My 05 GSXR 600 was a couple lengths slower than my buddies 05 R6 and both had just a slip on. My buddies 04 636 with just a slip on walks on both of us like nothing by a good 3 lengths minimum. The new 636's are supposed to be even faster than that. In our group, there are a couple 600RR's, a couple gsxr 600's, a R6 and a 636 and the fastest of the group is the 636 hands down. That why i was picking it. Not only does it look sick but it seems to be the fastest of all the 600's we run with.

Just wondering if you guys actually have proof as to why one is better than the other or is it just opinion?

You did good! Now add up a aftermarket can, steering damper, Woodcraft plastic top Sliders, tail eliminator, integrated LED tail, Power Commander, BMC air filter, stainless brake lines, rear cowl, extended ZeroG Double Bubble, rear 10mm spools for a stand, flushmount front signals, and $20-$30 for a Suspension tune from Marcus McBain or Patrick, Arata rearsets if you want to race, and a good amount of blue LocTite for all the bolts that will loosen up.

An air filter combined with a PCIII USB with the proper map and exhaust will give you some more juice, the rear tire won't stand a chance. A wise investment would be a Radiator shroud that prevents direct impacts but allows air to flow unobstructed. (seen two 636's with leaking Radiators due to rocks)

The 636 is a great bike IMO. Only complaint is a lack of a steering damper, but Patrick will hook me up on that today, and the stock windscreen really sucks. First purchase should be a DB windscreen. I got the Puig and it helps you "tuck in" a lot better than stock. Where are you getting yours from?
