A TTR 90 is a air cooled four stroke isn't it? If so, they would be better off in the F7 classes.

Any F7 bike will get you into those classes.

Mine's for sale so is Andy's (Metric Motorcycles). Call and ask Andy if that really is an "Ohlins" shock in the rear, coz it looks bone stock of a shock, which is just yellow...

Both those bikes are good bikes to start on..

Anytime.

Chipped Rib, Bruised shoulder, mangled right leg, Hip is purple as Barney! Wrist is fugged up too. Not sure why the M1 decided to do that . As of right now it does'nt look like I'll be riding anytime soon...

You all go have fun getting into the 49s without me

Fugging motor seized going into Turn 9 (right hander before long straight) @ Katy, and threw me off half/half on the right side curbing of the track. Sorta like a body slam...

I'm surprised I did'nt dislocated my shoulder or break the collar bone. As of right now I'm going to be optimistic and say I'll be ready for Katy. Doc says "Heck No!". Then again - that's why she's a doctor.

I'll be there, if not racing - to atleast support my team and for the trash talking!

I got high sided at Denton a couple of years ago in T-3. Landed right on the edge of teh asphalt. That hurt for weeks. I feel your pain.

The doc told me I couldn't ride last year with a broken collar...but I showed him! I rode so much I had to go back and get a Ti plate and 6 pins. Then he told me I couldn't ride for 3 months. I showed him again when I was back on teh track in 8 days.....now my freaking shoulder hurts daily

Yes, it really has an Ohlins on it

If anyone else wants an Ohlins for an XR100, I'm fixin' to put 3 up on Ebay soon for that bike.

I"m pretty sure he will have to take the school. Is he a minor? If so, he will also need a consent form filled out and signed by both parents. Make sure you check out the rules section on www.TMGPS.8k.com , and call Linda or Jeff if in doubt

Here is the text from the main page:
RACERS 17 AND UNDER MUST HAVE MINOR RELEASE SIGNED BY BOTH PARENTS FOR THE FIRST RACE (AT EACH TRACK). IF ONLY ONE PARENT IS ATTENDING, NOTIFY LINDA SPEARS 12 DAYS BEFORE THE 1ST RACE FOR NOTARIZED FORMS TO BE MAILED FOR THE PARENT NOT ATTENDING. Proof of age (Authentic Birth Certificate, Driverís License, Passport, and Military ID, State Id) must be submitted for new riders 17 and under. Please bring these documents with you at your first race.

CONTACT LINDA SPEARS PERSONALLY (BY PHONE-979-776-8898) AT LEAST 12 DAYS BEFORE THE RACE IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM OR A QUESTION PERTAINING TO MINOR INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS, BEST TIME IS 9 P.M. TO 11 P.M.)

All new riders that do not have a current road-racing license with another affiliated ROAD RACING ORGANIZATION(approved by TMGP), must attend the new riders school. New riders will be required to participate in a day of sprint racing and will be required to work two hours on sprint or endurance day, corner working. Corner working is considered part of rider school requirements. Call Linda Spears if you have questions (979-776-8898). Cost of Riders School is $35.00.

I don' think the rider school fee covers the license...

I agree with what Gaston is saying about the minor release forms...

However he will "not" have to take the license school with TMGP if he has a CMRA license. (in hand). Which I believe he does if he's racing Jr. Motard with CMRA.

He still needs to pay $35 for the "yearly" TMGP license. Which is a one time only thing for TMGP.
