My new job has taken over my life!!!!

Yeah, so I got this new job running drilling equipment to Louisiana and Oklahoma. They told me all about how good the pay was gonna be and how I would be my own boss. So I got a brand new F-250, sold my 4runner and was psyched to go. I got my first run about three weeks ago and have not stopped since! I drive about 16 hours a day (at least), to and from Lousiana and barely get a chance to sleep before my phone is ringing again. I haven't been on motohouston in like a month and I rode my bike for the first time in a month today for about an hour. I feel ashamed, very ashamed, I am not a worthy motohoustoner:BangHead: . I am going to try to come out this weekend, but chances are slim. But hey, the good thing is I will probably be able to save up and have a NEW bike by summer , hope I will have a chance to ride it...

Don't get me wrong, i like it, its just driving a comfy truck and jammin music all day. Plus the money is good, it's just that its an 8 hour trip their and 8 hours back and I usually leave late to go out, so I don't get home till 6 or 7 in the morning. And that's if I can stay up that long, otherwise I have to crash out at a truck stop for a few hours.

Appreciate it, but I don't know if it works like that, there's a contract you have to sign and certain insurance you have to get to drive for this company.

he is insured, he hauls fema trailers up north etc etc
anywho, its a good thing you are slammed, its better than buying a new rig and then the phone being quiet.
just get you a driving partner then.

yeah, I am glad the work is good, the truck payments definitely are not small. I just hope it will balance out, I am starting to feel like a zombie, too many energy drinks and gummy worms at 4 in the morning
