the pics are graphic but seeing something like that with my own eyes changed everything.. not just the way I ride but my entire outlook on life.

If you have not, I suggest you do. It's good food for thought.

I'll warn you, it's EXTREMELY graphic and disturbing.
Do I like to look at it? no, but you know what?
It puts me in my place and gets me thinking every time I'm out on the bike.
I stay well aware of my surroundings and the consequences for my actions.
Common sense, but, when riding a motorcycle, stuff can go from good to VERY bad in an instant.

I've been wearing proper safety gear from the beginning.
After seeing some of the aftermath on this site, you can bet I'll always be geared up.
Hopefully, it will change the minds of a few of you.
Personally, I'd rather help a friend up from an accident vs. watching their brains get swept up off the road.

Proceed with caution www.ride2die.com
A few hours after we talked and you gave me that website...

I found a guy wearing no helmet and pulled him over (Pearville has a "headgear required" ordinance). I told him about the website and he just scoffed at me... so I took him to the pokey .

that site is graphic, but at the same time: I have lost many friends to CAR crashes, but very very few to motorcycles (those happened to have alcohol and no gear involved). So, i'll still prefer 2 wheels over 4.

i don't know why you wouldn't want to wear motorcycle gear.

nothing looks more bad than a motorcycle rider in full gear. You look like a freaking android ready to kick some .

a dude in a gym shirt and shorts and AF1 sneakers or flip flops looks like a douchebag poseur.

seriously. sweating in full gear is at least worth looking like a total badass even if you don't think that gear is helpful. (which it obviously is)

Saw this site again the other day.

We keep hearing about all these riders having accidents with no gear on.

Here is a quick refresher to all the new guys that have joined and may not have seen this website.
