Just Picked Up A New Cruiser !

Just picked up a new '09 Yamaha V Star 950 over the weekend. This will be the new 2-up long distance bike that the wife will eventually learn on. So far it's great, just so much different from the R6 so it's gonna take some getting used to. What do you guys think ?

Vey nice, I have the 1300 V Star, it was my first cruiser, since owning sportbikes.
That is a nice color.
Have fun, your wife will love it.

Can't go wrong with the V Star cruisers IMO. I have only ridden the V Star for a total of about 30 miles (including riding home from the dealer in the pouring rain), but I have to say it's a comfortable ride. This will make for much less pain after forest rides !

Awesome looking bike....

So a few friends with Harleys were headed to a crawfish festival 2 weeks ago and the lady didnt want to ride the 6 so i borrowed my friends 08 Honda Shawow 750\Pearl White....whew...she's pretty..... The lady fell in love with it after that ride "ride\sound\comfort...etc" ..... so sadly, while i was in the market for a new 6, which she was originally ok with---(and mke my current 6 a track-ho....) i just screwed myself.... Now she's dissapproved the new 6 and will only allow a new cruiser purchase for her rides with our cruiser friends....

Now i have to figure out how to get both...

BTW, my buddy put some Vance N Hines (short stack) pipes on his shadow.....WOW....amazing sound. If you don't have new pipes yet, definitely look into these! You will not go wrong.

That Yamaha Road Warrior is looking pretty good to me too!

Congrats on the new ride!
