I only donate money to people that I know personally. While it's a very sad story, her injuries could have been prevented.

Aside from that, I would not be riding a motorcycle [pilot OR passenger] without medical insurance. The school should offer some sort of medical insurance for her. And she's 19...she should be covered under her parents insurance, esp. if she's still a student. I was covered until I was 21.

Just my $.02 - not trying to take away from the tragedy, just giving my opinon. I will keep them in my prayers.

Best wishes for a recovery.

Consider making a benefit ride/meet if your intentions are pure; without being an active, involved member of a community that would probably be the best way. We advocate gear strongly and know helmets are just a small piece of the puzzle for safety.

GL and if you have more questions, hit us up in PMs.

I'm sorry to sound so harsh...I don't donate to people not wearing gear, accidents invloving excessive speeds,no insurance, etc. I think to be a responsible bike rider, you should have Medical insurance, bike insurance and life insurance. Otherwise, don't take the risk and leave family members trying to make ends meet if you get severely hurt or worse.
