tire size and affects...

so i bought a new front tire and realized that it was a 120 70 17 and the ones im currently on are 120 65 17 will they make a difference? if so how much or should i just go and buy a diff tire?

I know change the rear tire make a huge diff but not sure how the front tire would change things

Do you kno the tire demensions? 120/65/17?
Basic ex:
120=width of tire(across tread)
65=profile of tire(sidewall)
17=rim size duh.
The wider tire you go less and less agility/handling the bike will have. Due to less concave in the tire.

Since you went from a 65 to a 70, the tire should be more rounded or trapezoidal meaning it will turn in easier. However, the 70 size tire should be taller than the 65, meaning the front end will be sitting higher. So, the bike will be less willing to turn in due to the increase in rake.

Since these effects are contrary to each other, it's difficult to say how the bike will feel once the new tire is installed.

Don't worry about it. A lot of Kawi riders switch to that size with no ill effects, myself included.
