Moriwaki

These bikes are sick! I would love to have a little 250 for trackday fun, have you ever rode one?? I saw a guy at msrh a few months back with a 125 and he was having a blast on it, passing people in the corners like they were sitting still and braking way late to the apex.

In the new Roadracing World (page 76) there's a picture of the Moriwaki Moto2 prototype racebike, dosnt say engine size. Ohlins suspension and all the goodies, looks like everything on the bike is race ready (minus the stock exhaust, as usual)

I would probably never buy a Moriwaki due to the price, but what do yall think, that's a bad little racebike.

I've seen that guy too...older guy, and I think at MSRH on 4-19 him and I guess his wife were trading off on it in the B and C group. It's basically a rs125 chassis with a honda crf 250x motor. I think they're around 12k new and you can order them through most Honda dealerships. Definitely a cool little bike!

no it is not a Ride Smart 125 chassis, it is a purpose built250mx powered race bike and Honda pays a lot of contingency money for this spec class inUSGPRU Jake Lewis was the class champion last year.

If that is too expensive for you guys - consider getting an Ride Smart chassis and stuffing a CRF150R motor in it.

That shiiit is FUN! Under $7k, nicely done.
