It's most likely the suzuki sticker on the side of the bike that's causing this problem :(

Can still be the chain. Check the chain on a stand and see if there are tight/loose spots in it. How many miles on that particular chain?

Putting the bike on the stand wont put the rear tire under the load that normal acceleration endures. If you can ride slow while looking down at the chain, you will be able to distinguish if the noise is coming from the engine(front) or rear/center(chain.)

otherwise; low oil, valve tapping, exhaust leak; but all those would increase w speed or be more noticeable in the front.

What side of town are you on?

Maybe someone would be willing to listen to it, or better yet see if you can swing by Motorcycles Unlimited.

need more info..how high do u have to rev it(rpms) to get it to start going? does cold start/oper temp? Chain links could be binding makin a pop/clickin noise when going around the sprocket (under a load). Try riding around a parking lot with ur helmet off. not safe* but youll be able to hear exactly where the noise is coming frm.then get back an post where ur hearing it..
